This was the 12v DC timer available when I purchased my CSF-3 six years ago. I love it, and it has never let me down. A little tedious to program (you have to enter a separate start and a stop time for each feed cycle, up to 16 cycles so up to 32 separate time entries), but once you've got it set, you'll never need to do it again, unless you want to change the feed times. Extremely versatile, you can set different cycles for different days of the week, or different cycles for weekends (Sat/Sun) versus weed days (M-F). The clock is very accurate- I haven't had to reset mine in 6 years. I needed a 12vdc setup for my off-grid home, and this timer was perfect for me. One other nice feature is the "On-Auto-Off" switch- if you want to manually start an extra feed cycle at any time, outside the programmed cycles (an "extra treat!"), just move the switch from "Auto" to "On" for a few seconds, then back to "Auto" to continue the regular program cycle. Have fun!
(NOT MADE IN CHINA) This is your lucky day...You have finally found a DEPENDABLE 7-day/24-hr programmable DC timer that you will not pay an arm and a leg for! A REAL JEWEL!! Use it like a light switch. About 2 3/8" square by 1 1/4" thick, this 7-Day 12 Volt DC timer (with internal 5-year battery back-up for program/time hold when disconnected from your main battery) can be operated by any 12 volt battery and has an internal 16A rated SPST relay to provide your SuperFeeder (OR OTHER PURPOSE) with up to 16 daily cycles if used for all 7 days of the week (8 on/off daily programs, or a total weekly of 16 cycles (8 on-off cycles) for individual or groups of days of the week. For more daily cycles please check out our other 2-channel model. Power consumption with timer relay NOT energized is next to none at 90-124 micro amps. With its internal relay energized it is also minimal at 33-49 MA. You can program these events Mon thry Fri, Sat and Sun, all days of the week or particular days of the week. ie., "on" and "off" Monday morning, "on" that afternoon, and "off" several days later, etc...Timer's minimum "on" time is 1 minute increments, NOT SECONDS. If shorter time is needed, and you are good at hooking up electrical things, it can be used along with one of our own PCB'S solid state timers to reduce "on" time down into split second increments, if needed as long as load does not exceed pc board rating. If it does, you may use a secondary relay (SEE "RELAYS" PAGE). This timer must be kept sheltered if used outdoors. It comes with 4 ea. crimp type connectors to fit the timer and relay terminals. Wire is NOT included. You will need to purchase wire to reach your SuperFeeder or other item you want to turn on or off. FOR A LARGER, DETAILED PICTURE and more info, SEE OUR REGULAR WEB SITE AT:
